Clash of Clans Quick Tip #5 – Do Poison Spells Affect Heroes? The Poison Spell is tested against the Barbarian King and Archer Queen in CoC. The same affects would be apparent on the Grand Warden. In conclusion, the Poison spell DOES work on heroes, but will be used to mainly slow the hero down and only a single spell is advised. Within an attack strategy this will help to maintain health on your attacking troops whilst they take out the defending hero. An example is also shown where the Poison Spell is used to slow down the Barbarian kick so that Hog Riders can out run it. This video is accurate as of November 2016. Clash On!
