Clash of Clans used in The Simpsons Tapped Out

It’s an unholy meeting of free to play titans as the latest update to EA’s The Simpsons: Tapped Out adds a very Clash of Clans-y new multiplayer feature to the game. You’re now able to build up an army of troops and raid your neighbors’ cities, but you’ll also have to keep your own guard up as they can do the same to you. As always, The Simpsons: Tapped Out isn’t shy in making fun of itself, as the tagline for this latest update is “Build! Raid! Defend! Tap!” Yes! Tapping rules!

In all honesty, adding some PvP to The Simpsons: Tapped Out makes total sense. I mean, you’re already doing the whole building up bases part by building out your little Springfield, and updating an existing game that already has a massive userbase makes a lot more sense than creating an entirely new Clash of Clans-ish game. And, Clash of Clans-ish games are so hot right now with Call of Duty and Tiny Troopers both getting in on the action, among others.
